Gritz began with a simple wish: to give Jerusalem an Italian table where you feel at home.
Before the kitchen, there was the room. Soft, low-lit, with tables close enough to feel company and far enough apart to feel at ease.
The rest followed naturally: ingredients chosen one by one, honest and generous Italian cooking, and a fully kosher menu so no one is left at the door.
That is all we were after — a place where you take your time, share the plates, and leave already wanting to come back.
